Youth
Investment and Church
Senior Pastor Stephen, Encouraged Apostolic Evangelical Church
youth in a youth meeting held in our church to save and invest
in shares and property essipecially in Kenya. He reminded them
they have a duty to look foward to their future in a brighter
approach. They were adviced to spend one pound on themself and
save one for a rainy day. The property business has become a well
paying investment in Kenya in the recent years, where a plot bought
two years ago, can fetch double the price it was paid for. The
youth showed positive interest in the idea. The Pastor told them
even though they are born again and our hope is to go to heaven,
it is also right to invest while still here on earth, for your
future and for genarations to come. Even Jesus worked very hard
during his youth helping his father Joseph.
We
as a Church focus on young people as we understands the unique
challenges facing this generation. It’s high time that we
start telling our young people what they can do. They can be accepted
as they are. They can live lives of purpose and destiny. They
can find trustworthy friendships and relationships. They can be
free from drugs. They can be hopeful for their future and as the
Church we have the answer for them in the person of Jesus Christ.”
Hence we the church has provided space for them in eg Form dancing
group SOC, Extreme 4 JC and also educative conference.
